about

This track taken from the idea of minimalism and praying and also how the contemporary world sees the seeming madness of “John of Patmos”.

All of the noises expect for the three tambourine tracks were done at once and then spliced - Into one clean track and two with effects. The “vocal splicing” which can be heard is no effects but wave form splicing. Taking the part of the track where a reading of Revelation Chapter 10.1-4 and then spliced into a track with effects. As well as all other vocals, breath, chants, flipping of bible pages and other noises as well as the “beats” is done via hitting the wall with a condenser microphone nearby (or put into a pillow agents the wall as i hit it) were all done in one recoding and spliced after. The tambourine, in three tracks one is sped up drastically and remains though most of the track as a very low sound. The other two tracks are clean.
